China Merchants Bank as the scale of the sixth largest bank in the country 's major cities have more than 1800 branches, 2300 Duo self-service banking. To promote the Digital Transformation Strategy, China Merchants Bank plans to upgrade their wireless network in nationwide.
Before network upgrade, China Merchants Bank's national business outlets had different levels of wireless network construction. Some branch used the wireless networks with SSID: CMCC, ChinaNet, and ChinaUnicom which is operated by ISP, some branch still uses the router for family user, some branches even don’t have wireless networks. - Each branch deploys multi-integrated gateway for internet connection, AP connect to gateway for internet. With internet AP can connected to the HQ controller and achieve access control, audit, traffic management, VPN, etc.
- In wireless controller there integrated SMS authentication platform, customers connect to the internet by getting the code from SMS gateway for authentication. At the same time, the info such as phone number, terminal MAC address etc., will be send to the controller to support implement real-name management and control and real-name phone number audit;
